The Golf Club
Chippenham Golf Club, founded in 1896 , has gone through many changes in its history including the recent opening of 7 new holes and the building of a new modern Clubhouse.
Our course provides a fantastic challenge to golfers of all abilities. The excellent putting surfaces always receive great reviews . The recently added holes have enhanced the existing layout and make for an enjoyable round of golf. There is an interesting mix of holes with five par 5's, five par 3's and eight par 4's.
Opened in December 2012, the new state of the art clubhouse provides a modern venue that is the envy of many. Clean, bright and airy, the various rooms provide the highest comfort but still retain a golf club atmosphere. Our food and drink offering are second to none and the regular Club and private events provide plenty of entertainment. The Club also caters for anyone looking to enjoy a light lunch, a snack or coffee and cake. Chippenham Golf Club really is a great meeting place.

While every golf club will claim this, reviews have regularly mentioned that Chippenham is the friendliest Club in Wiltshire. The warmth of welcome extends from the Members down through the staff. New members and visitors will find it easy to feel a part of the Club.

One of Chippenham Golf Club’s main goals is to provide the best possible facility at the best possible price. The Club offers great value in all areas and is constantly adding benefits for its Members. Members enjoy discounts on food and drink, range balls and guest Green Fees.
The Club runs regular competitions throughout the year. The competitions offer a variety of formats. For those wishing to get involved in competitive & social team golf, we run teams for all levels of handicap.
Chippenham Golf Club has a very active social scene with quiz nights held once a month throughout the winter. These nights often attract over 120 people. Other events include New Years Eve Party, Burns Night, St Patrick’s Night, Captain’s Day and the Annual Dinner. Various other theme and tribute nights are also held.
