Gateway to Golf Membership
The Gateway to Golf membership is a new membership concept here at Chippenham Golf Club and is designed to encourage new participation in the sport. The category is open to both male and females who are looking to get into golf, alongside some tuition.
The Gateway Membership will include the following:

3 x half an hour lessons with one of our qualified PGA Professionals
You will receive 3 half hour lessons with one of our pros. These lessons should be used throughout the 3 months of the membership. The pros will encourage you to practice what they have taught you on the driving range, putting green and short game area. One of these lessons MUST be used before playing on the course (unless already having tuition). Additional 1 to 1 and group lessons will also be available if you wish to use this. -
3 months membership of the front 9 holes, playing off an appropriate tee based on ability.
This membership allows the golfer to play up to 9 holes a day from a tee that will be specified to them by the pro after the first lesson. Playing on the course is a good way of learning the game. Tee times may be booked online, with tee times available after 2pm in the summer and 12pm in the winter for this membership category. -
This membership may be taken a maximum of twice.
If you decide after the first time that you have completed this membership that you can gain more from it, then you may retake this membership. This allows you the same package again; 3 more lessons and 3 more months access to the course.
At the end of the 3 months (or six months should you wish) the member may upgrade to one of the other categories below:
